Befana Day 2025
Dear Members,
You are invited to have your children or grandchildren meet La Befana.
La Befana brings gifts to the well behaved and not so well behaved children.

​Date: Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 2.00 p.m.
​
La Befana will give gifts to the children between 3 and 10 years old whose parents are members of the Association for the year 2025.
Interested members are asked to call before December 11, 2024 and give the name, gender and age of the child (3 to 10 yrs) attending this party.

Bowling League
Our bowling season starts August 30, 2018 and ends May 2, 2019. We bowl each Thursday night at tLaurentian Lanes (Montée-de-liesse & Côte-de-liesse, St.-Laurent) at 7:15m.

Competition for the best homemade wine 2025​

Non-members are welcomed (non-members, however, cannot participate in the competition)
Dear members and friends,
Our association is organizing an evening for the best homemade wine contest.
A wine expert will select the best wine.
The wines presented must be submitted in bottles labeled to indicate the type of grapes used and the vintage year.
Wine must be made from grapes or grape must only, not from concentrate.
A contestant can submit only one bottle of wine and it must be delivered before 7 pm.
The winner will receive a 150$ prize.
The second position will receive 100$ and third 50$.

A meal will be served during the evening.
Menu: Entrée, focaccia and bread, lasagne, salad, chicken with sides, dessert, water and coffee.

Photography contest 2025
Dear members,
We are inviting you to the photography contest for our calendar 2026.
​
Again this year, there is no specific theme but we will accept photos from
Italy as well as Canada.
Take pictures of your daily life, your family activities, your environment, your garden, your pets etc...:
Everything is admissible.
The jury will choose thirteen from the best photos that meet the criteria already established:
composition, image quality and originality. Only one photo per member will be used in the calendar.

VERY IMPORTANT
Please avoid photographing people without their consent.
The photos have to be taken horizontally.
​
Please read the contest rules and regulations before submitting your photos.
​
RULES
- Your pictures must be taken within Canada or Italy.
- The contest is open to members registered for 2025 and is for amateur photographers only.
- A maximum of 12 pictures may be submitted.
- All photos must be printed on 4” x 6” paper, in color, and in HORIZONTAL format.
- Images taken with a digital camera must also be burned on a CD or on a USB key and sent with the prints.
- Contestants must write the location where the photo was taken on the back of each photo.
- The name of the participant must not appear on the back of the photo.
